Housed in the historic Love Building in Gastonia, North Carolina, the Sumner Group was formed in 1987 by Michael Sumner with the idea of serving as Gaston County's first full-service marketing firm.

Over the ensuing years, our work has continued to evolve, innovate and expand, helping the firm become a leader in smart and effective advertising, marketing, design and public relations.
We offer more areas of expertise now than at any other time in the more than 35 years of our existence. We know how to cut through the jungle in a crowded marketplace.
