Jonathan Fletcher was elected as Register of Deeds for Gaston County in November 2024 after previously serving as an Assistant Register of Deeds in Gaston County. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Software & Information Systems with a minor in History. Prior to working in the Register of Deeds Office, Jonathan worked at Wyant and Son Monument Company in Gastonia, helping to manage his family's business that served Gaston County for over 65 years. He also spent time as a Regional Manager for Associated Equipment Distributors - an international trade association serving distributors in the heavy equipment industry. Raised in Gaston County, Jonathan has served in leadership for various organizations throughout the community. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for both Gaston College and the Gaston County Museum of Art & History.
