Domestic Industry A workshop opportunity to help you explore the tools, techniques, technologies, materials and folklore along with the food, clothing, and shelter vital to the daily survival settlers in the Carolina Backcountry. Try open hearth cooking, woodworking, blacksmithing, and textile skills. Investigate the colonial frontier through primary sources and acquaint yourself with custome and manners of concern to 18th century Carolinians.
