The Little Theater of Gastonia presents The Miracle Worker, based on Helen Keller's autobiography and tells the story of Annie Sullivan and her student. Left blind, deaf, and mute due to illness in infancy, Helen has grown into a wild, angry, tantrum-throwing child. The Kellers hire Annie Sullivan to serve as Helen's teacher. Annie realizes her student's potential, that there is a mind and spirit waiting to be rescued from the dark, if only she can reach her.
Evening performances April 16 - 18 and 23 - 25 at 8:00 pm
Matinee on Sunday, April 19 at 2:30 pm.
Tickets range in price from $10 - $16 and are available from the theater. Please visit www.littletheaterofgastonia.com for more information.
