HABITAT GASTON TO DEDICATE THE JOHAN NEWCOMBE EVENT CENTER
A joint Gaston Regional and Montcross Area Chamber ribbon-cutting at 5 p.m. kicks off the Grand Opening celebration for the new Johan Newcombe Event Center at Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County. Music by Scott Baker, refreshments by H&M Catering and event furnishings by Creative Solutions Special Events.
The Event Center is named in memory of Johan Newcombe. She was one of Habitat’s original founders and served as Habitat’s first President and volunteer Executive Director. The Johan Newcombe Event Center is 6,000 square feet of multi-purposes space that can be used for training, meetings, catered banquets, and other special events.
