The Junior League of Gaston County is proud to announce that Chef Marcus will be hosting a hands-on lesson and demonstration in partnership with Caromont Health on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. The event will be held at Discover You! 420 E. Central Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120 and will cost $5. 20 spots are available for children of Gaston County. This program is part of the Junior Leagues? Kids in the Kitchen initiative, which is supported by The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. and its member Leagues. Its goal is to promote child health and wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle choices, therefore preventing obesity and its associated health risks.
