The Gaston Business Association aims to foster collaboration between local businesses and government entities. To accomplish this, we invite you to join us for an upcoming breakfast event that promises to shed light on the critical intersection of business and government impacting Gaston County.
September 26th, hear from a distinguished panel of state elected officials who will:
Share their insights into what transpired during this year’s session of the General Assembly in Raleigh
Discuss what issues are anticipated to be addressed next year
Dive deeper into the potential implications for your business
Our thought bubble: We are grateful to our esteemed representatives for taking the time to engage with our business community, as they shape policies affecting us. The panel includes:
Representative John Torbett - Representative Torbett (District 108) previously served on the Gaston County Board of Commissioners from 2002 to 2010.
Representative Donnie Loftis - Representative Loftis (District 109) has been involved in Gaston County government and community for many years. He has chaired the CaroMont Health board and served as a Gaston County Commissioner.
Representative Kelly Hastings - Representative Hastings (District 110) has been a member of the North Carolina General Assembly since his election in 2010.
Senator Brad Overcash - Senator Overcash (District 43), who started his term this year, has demonstrated his leadership through various roles within our community, and continues to serve Gaston County as State Senator.
This event is an opportunity for the business community to engage in meaningful dialogue, gain insights and stronger connections with our state officials.
