Gaston College, Room 206, in the Dalpiaz Student Success Center, Dallas Campus.
Tuition is free for unemployed and underemployed individuals. All others the cost is $70.00.

In response to the requests of regional manufacturers, Gaston College?s Department of Occupational and Continuing Education is now offering a two-module, 40-hour program designed to prepare individuals for entry level positions in Advanced Manufacturing. The program will provide participants with the training manufacturers have indicated are vital for success. Two Modules and National Career Readiness Certificate Training will be provided as follows: MODULE ONE TOPICS INCLUDE: Building Cohesive Teams, Developing Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills, Communication and Active Listening, Problem Solving and Creating Effective Resumés. MODULE TWO TOPICS INCLUDE: Math and Measurements, Computer Skills for the Workplace, Principles of Manufacturing and Sharpening Your Interviewing Skills. NATIONAL CAREER READINESS CERTIFICATE: Boot Camp participants will be provided an opportunity to receive the National Career Readiness Certificate, a nationally recognized credential confirming the recipients? abilities in Math, Reading for Information and Locating Information- skills employers noted are essential to success in the workplace.
