Description
The Avon/Catawba Creek Greenway Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is on Tuesday, October 19 at 4:00 PM. This segment of the greenway is a project of the City of Gastonia and Carolina Thread Trail in partnership with Wells Fargo and Brookline Homes.
This greenway section connects from Lineberger to Second Avenue and we are excited to officially open this segment to the community.
The ceremony will be held at the new greenway access point, across from Lineberger Park. Please park at the lower Lineberger Park lot and follow the signage to the access point. Directly following the ceremony, there will be an optional short walk of that greenway section.
