The Spirit of the Carolinas (sponsored by South State Bank), honors a business leader who exhibits long-term impact with their contributions to the economic, community, and cultural fabric of Gaston County.
The Spirit of the Economy award is presented to a company or business leader dedicated to driving economic growth and business success in Gaston County and North Carolina.
The Spirit of Main Street award (sponsored by MECA Commercial Real Estate) recognizes an established development project(s) advancing shared prosperity, economic vitality, and quality of life in one of Gaston County’s numerous downtown districts.
